OUR LEADERSHIP

Doug Wren

Worked on an IMAX Film in the Amazon | Explored 127 countries | Knocked out in a Muay Thai Match and choked out/passed out
in a jiu-jitsu match. (he is a lover not a fighter) | He has an arch nemesis named Rocco Forte Wren, a small but cunning Maltese. Doug has a passion for travel which started in 1994 returning from Brazil, sitting on a 12 hour flight in coach class (smoking section) with dreams of first class travel experiences in his future. Originally from Pennsylvania (go Phillies), living in Brazil (Tudo Bom) and residing in Utah (go Jazz) where his travel career took flight. Starting out as a specialist in Latin America for 15 years, Doug was singled out by Travel + Leisure Magazine as being on the “A-List” of travel executives and recognized by Forbes, Robb Report and other publications as an expert in the travel industry. After Latin America, the world was calling and Doug went on to travel to every continent, a 100 + countries, 50 states and decided it would be cool to become a travel show host on the radio for eight years. While traveling is a big part of his life, Doug’s biggest accomplishments are marrying way above his league, Ms. Holly Wren and raising two amazing well-traveled daughters. When not working, Doug is at Snowbasin, snowboarding or mountain biking or probably eating wonderful foods. “If I weren’t in the travel industry, I would be touring the world being a rock star…. Or maybe working as a roadie since I have no musical talents.”

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
- Mark Twain
